Meet Isabelle
Hi there! I’m Isabelle, and I’m so glad you’re here on my blog.
Let me take you back to where my love for cooking all started. I grew up in a charming, quiet town in America, where the sky seemed to stretch on forever.
Being an only child, I often found myself at my grandma’s house right next door. It was always so cozy and welcoming, with a garden that was bursting with colorful flowers and fresh produce.
Her garden was full of treasures, especially tomatoes, herbs, and strawberries. The strawberries were my absolute favorite—they were so sweet and reminded me of those sunny summer days. That’s why I still love using fresh, seasonal ingredients in my cooking.
Grandma’s kitchen was where all the magic happened. She had this incredible talent for turning simple ingredients into something extraordinary. Friends and neighbors would come from all over to enjoy her delicious creations, whether it was a warm pie, homemade cookies, or simply the comfort of her hug and smile.

As a child, I’d sit by her side, watching her cook, dreaming of the day I could create like she did. By the time I was 18, I was spending hours in the kitchen, eager to impress her. Those cherished moments together taught me that cooking wasn’t just about the food—it was about creating memories and bringing people closer.
Now, at 57, even though my grandma is no longer with us, I cook in her honor. This blog is my tribute to the love, warmth, and joy she passed down to me through every meal.
When I’m not busy in the kitchen, you’ll find me enjoying a cup of coffee and brainstorming new recipes—many of them featuring my favorite, strawberries! I hope the recipes I share bring a bit of warmth and happiness to your kitchen as they did in mine.

I’m so glad you’re here to join me on this journey!
